Hola amigos! If you can’t already tell, I do a lot of gardening. It’s only out on my balcony, but between potting cuttings from my succulent and cacti collection to making a few terrariums for friends and family, it was starting to take a toll on my hands.Sometimes, I can get really dirty hands and nails after spending a morning gardening, and using regular soap was starting to dry them out, so wanting to keep my hands soft and clean I decided to DIY my own gardener’s hand scrub. This gardener’s hand scrub is different from my other DIY hand scrub, as that one was meant to soften your hands after they’re clean, while this gardener’s hand scrub is meant to give a nice deep clean while not being too harsh. This recipe has only 3 ingredients: dish soap, sugar and lemon. The sugar cane helps exfoliate while the dish soap picks up the dirt and grime. The lemon adds much needed freshness after working with dirt. This scrub is my go to after I spend a morning gardening. After planting your own succulents try this scrub to get your hands nice and clean again. As an added bonus, make some extra and give it to that favorite gardener in your life!
