eHow

03/18/2015

If you have been keeping up with me on Facebook or Instagram, you may have noticed me subtly posting about “wonderful things” coming to Hola Sara. It’s been a little over 3 months since the launch of my blog, and now I can share that exciting news I’ve only been hinting at.

I am now a contributor for eHow!

What does that mean? It means I’ll be contributing easy and simple DIY projects for eHow.com; however, I will still be posting to Hola Sara. It was quite a surprise for me to have this opportunity come along only a few short months after Hola Sara went live. I didn’t expect this to happen as quickly as it did, but it’s been a goal of mine to be part of a larger community of crafters/DIY-ers.
My good friend, Jonathan Fong, over at Style with a Smile had recommended me when eHow was on the search for new contributors. Even with only a few blog posts at the time, eHow liked what they saw and reached out. I have since accepted and love what I am doing for them. I get assigned a craft project where I’m in charge of the photos and instructions, just like I do here on Hola Sara every week. It really pushes me to come up with more easily understandable steps for my crafts, because crafters of all experience levels may come across an eHow project I’ve done. From time to time, you may see a post that I have written for eHow linked to from here on Hola Sara. I’ve already had a few of my projects published on eHow.com, they include planting succulents, coloring eggs (just in time for Easter), and twisted streamers, with more on the way. Thank you so much for your support! Let’s see where this takes me.
